ECM189 GPS Jammer Detector
The ECM189 GPS Jammer Detector is ideal for aiding the installation of an ECM641 GPS jammer. The ECM189 assists by tracking the jamming signal around the vehicle and identifying any black spots where a tracker unit could be installed.
The ECM189 is able to detect the presence of an active ECM641 GPS jammer unit at a line of distance of almost 50 metres.

The ECM189 GPS Jammer Detector is designed to detect the RF signature of the ECM641 GPS jammer.
Controls
The unit is activated by means of a 3 position slide switch on the RHS of the unit.
In the first ‘on’ position only the signal strength indication is activated.
In the second ‘on’ position both the cadenced vibrator and the signal strength display are activated. The cadence of the vibrator pulses will increase the higher the detected signal.
Indicators
There are 5 signal strength indications and one dual colour indicator in the lower right hand corner of the fascia.
When the unit is operating correctly this lower indicator will flash green at a rate of approximately twice every second. If this indication changes to red, a low battery condition has been detected and the batteries should be changed within the next few hours.
