QCC Mobile Phone Forensics services are designed to provide government level Phone Forensic Investigation (PFI) and Phone Incident Response (PIR) capability to both QCC Government & Corporate Clients.

All QCC PFI and PIR services and laboratories are fully ISO accredited & deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions to full criminal justice standards & in line with ACPO / NPCC best practice guidelines which security & investigation teams can call on when required.

Investigation advice and management

QCC supports Clients with investigation advice and management at either the Board level or directly into the investigation team. As Board / Director level advisors QCC can assist with clear explanations of highly technical issues helping non-technical directors or executives to have total clarity of the situation thereby enabling them to make fully informed decisions.

Our experienced investigators and forensic analysts can also act as your in-house investigation team or just support your own or external investigators where specialist skills are required or when your resource is at a premium.

Search and seizure services

QCC can assist law enforcement teams with criminal search and seizure support or companies / private individuals or their legal representatives with civil search and seizure support including conducting Anton Piller court orders to obtain mobile phone evidence essential to their case. QCC forensics and investigation staff hold both government vetting and vetting to BS7858: 2012 and our search and seizure services are fully ISO accredited.

On-site and laboratory forensic acquisition and analysis

QCC can conduct mobile phone forensics acquisition & analysis at our forensic laboratories or at Client sites as required. We have a full mobile forensics capability and can deliver these services globally. All work conducted on-site is completed to the same standards as our lab based work and under the same ISO accreditation.

Cell site analysis

QCC cell site analysis team provide geographical location of mobile phones or data devices using data and call records obtained from mobile network operators. This information can be pivotal in court cases proving the location of the device at a particular time and date.

QCC cell site analysis team are highly experienced in all forms of mobile communications including call and data communications across GPS, 2G, GSM, GPRS, 3G, UMTS, CDMA, HSDPA, 4G and LTE protocols and the subsequent presentation of this type of evidence in court where cross-examination can be very rigorous and highly technical.

All QCC cell site analysis services hold the same ISO accreditation as all of our other forensics work.

Phone Incident Response (PIR)

QCC Phone Incident Response (PIR) team provides strategic advice to Directors & Executive boards around mobile phone and mobile device security & mobile phone incidents and how organisations can and should plan their response.

QCC PIR team provide a wide range of niche skills and services to support Clients who suspect they have suffered a mobile phone security incident. QCC can either provide specific elements of support or a full managed service acting as the Clients own PIR team.

When the worst happens QCC’s Phone Incident Response process adopts the following two simultaneous streams to ensure all options remain open to the effected organisation:

  • Forensic collection & analysis of any evidence relating to the incident.
  • Recovery of any effected mobile phones back to full working order.

Post incident QCC will provide analysis of the incident, what happened, how it happened and advise on controls and countermeasures to mitigate and reduce the risk of further incidents occurring.
