PDA CPD-196 Mobile Phone Locator
The PDA CPD-196 is a mobile phone locator compatible with 2G and 3G networks. Developed by PDA Electronics, the CPD-196 features band-selection filtering combined with signal detection algorithms and easy to use displays.
Both 2G and 3G mobile phones can be detected by the PDA CPD-196 using GSM900 & GSM1800 bands for 2G and WCDMA/UMTS 2100 band for 3G. The PDA CPD-196 features a directional antenna to help narrow down a search to a specific mobile phone.
The PDA CPD-196 uses Pulse Envelope Demodulation in combination with Digital Signal Processing algorithms to help prevent any false alarms while still being able to differentiate between weak, strong and interfering signals.
The LED indicators built into the PDA CDP-196 show the operator an approximate range to the source of a signal and whether it’s a 2G or 3G signal detected.
