QCC Lynx Passive IMSI Grabber Detector

The QCC Lynx is a Passive IMSI Grabber Detector, built for BTS cell scanning and drive testing. Designed for portability, the QCC Lynx is a fully self-contained passive system housed in a very compact unit. Combined with low power consumption, the Lynx is perfect for almost any environment or deployment.

The Lynx system is able to detect and list all cell towers, base stations, femtocells, private networks and active IMSI grabbers in the surrounding area. This is thanks to the built-in hardware and software that enables the IMSI grabber and interception detection system to run. All of this is housed in a custom smart phone, making the QCC Lynx very portable, easy to use and inconspicuous for covert operation.

If a suspicious cell is detected by Lynx, it’s able to lock, track and locate the cell using the built-in direction-finding system. When not scanning, the operator can switch the Lynx out of scanning mode to enable operation as a traditional smart phone, adding further to the Lynx’s inconspicuous design.

QCC Lynx automatically detects illegal base stations or ISMI grabbers with it’s fully passive scanning of 2G, 3G, 4G LTE FD & TD. It is then able to list and decode all surrounding cellular connections and stores all of the information/parameters in a local database. Where information is available, the Lynx can provide a map view of all BTS. To allow for the running of full analysis software platforms on external devices, QCC Lynx is able to connect to a laptop or tablet via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

All of the Lynx’s functions and features result in an IMSI grabber detector perfect for a wide range of deployments including the protection of Government, Military, Law enforcement or VIP clients and also ideal for all forms of TSCM inspections.
