Earlier this year, Pinewood Studios reported an incident during filming of the new Bond 25 film at their Iver Heath site in Buckinghamshire. In a statement the studio said that they were taking the incident very seriously.

Thames Valley Police released a statement in which they announced that they have been investigating a report of voyeurism at the studio and that they have made an arrest in connection to the incident.

Hidden Camera on Bond Set

Reportedly, a 49-year-old male has been arrested for allegedly planting a hidden camera in the ladies’ toilets at Pinewood Studio’s large site. The hidden camera was discovered in one of the restrooms on the set where filming is taking place for the new Bond film, Bond 25 (a working title for the film). It’s not clear at this moment what kind of connection the accused has to the production or the studio, but Pinewood Studios has been vocal about cooperating with the police investigation.

Pinewood Studios released a statement saying:

“We take this issue very seriously. We have reported the incident to the police and are supporting them with their investigation.”

As of this moment in time, it’s been reported that just the one camera in the toilets has been discovered, but if access to the toilets was gained, where else could they have gained access to? What other devices could have been planted?

Reports of hidden cameras are on the rise and this incident shows that it’s not just hotels and Airbnb’s being targeted by these voyeurs.
